Does anyone know of a lyme literate cardiologist in NYC? I am again having issues with extremely low blood pressure and tachycardia. It seems to be connected to vestibular issues (in other words, my ear gets clogged, this causes dizzyness, at the same time my heart rate goes over 100 on bp hovers around mid 70's over mid 50's). I don't think its POTS btw because it doesn't matter what position I am in, plus it can last an entire day. So far the only thing I have found to help is 1/4 of a valium. That doesn't seem like a long term solution, so I think I should see a cardio....

Sorry I don't know of a LL cardiologist on the east only on west coast. I wouldn't rule out POTS due to lyme. It can look different for everyone. My BP goes up (sometimes down). I can be sitting, standing, laying, or moving when it triggers. It can last for hours, and by far my most horrible symptom. I'm told it gets better with lyme/co treatment, which mine has, only one relapse with a cold.
Anyway, I hope you can find a good cardiologist that understands what lyme/co do to our bodies.
