Anyone with experience with this disease?
I have itching
Swollen lymph nodes
Shortness of breath at times
Feels like my neck is swollen inside
Amoung many other things (joint pain, muscle pain, headaches, muscle twitching... It's a long list but not associated directly with lymphoma symptoms)
I tested positive for Lyme through igenex but I'm worried there's a possibility of lymphoma bc of the itching and nodes
I've had MRI's CTs (head, neck, torso) - showed only one swollen nodes upper left node near jaw), but weeks later I now have a swollen node above collarbone... Had a surgery to remove mucocele of appendix and they biopsied two nodes inside my stomach near mucocele - they were benign.
If the nodes they checked in my stomach (not enlarged though)were benign does that mean I don't have lymphoma (or could it be starting in my neck?)?
Blood work is normal (other than my slightly elevated liver enzymes recently), tumor markers were normal.
Anyone?? Sorry I'm really stressing about
the swollen collarbone node an the intense itching.......

My LLMD is on vacation... Otherwise I would call about
the intense itching. It's driving me crazy

My uncle had lymphoma. He had unexplained itching for some years. Then severe vomiting, weight loss, nausea etc in the later stages. Not diagnosed until it got very bad. He was stage 4 and survived..

Hi Delmar,
I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma stage IIIB when I was 15,5.
My main symptoms were fatigue, major weight loss, very low bp (60/40), severe night sweating and abnormal bloodwork (high sedimentation, very high wb's). I didn't have itching though (a little bit, but nothing that drove me crazy), except during chemo, but that was caused by the medication.
My lymph nodes have been constantly swollen since a few years now, in my neck (where I had a few tumors). But I'm far from worried.
A lot of members on here have swollen lymph nodes, it's pretty common for people with LD.
I think it is reassuring that your blood tests are normal.

It would be extremely, extremely rare for your WBC to be in normal range and have lymphoma - I would just chalk up your symptoms to lyme right now.

Thank you all so much! I will check with my doctor as soon as I can about
this itchiness, but I really appreciate the peace of mind you have given me.
Marie, sorry you've had to go through so much. I'm sure you're a very strong person for it. There must be big plans for you!
