I just wanted to let people know there is an option other than the poisons. Lymies don't need more garbage in their system. We used it last night and it did quick work. No sign of them this morning either, so it worked very well. Now we can use the door again.

The price is jacked way up on the site I posted. It's around $8 in the stores. We were able to get it at a local nursery that carries organic supplies, but I'd think you could suggest it to a nursery and they might be willing to stock some on a trial basis.

Thanks. Several years ago, my two dogs were stung numerous times by ground wasps. I had to give the dogs and me three Benadryl each, and rush them into the shower.

Sophie was too weak to make it to the front door. I found her at the back door, downstairs.

So I went ahead and bought the regular stuff (poisonous).

I'm glad to hear about organic, but I am so scared now of the ground wasps, that if I see them, I just put a mask on and spray them.

Normally, I would never do anything like that, but it was a terrifying experience.

How to kill poison ivy is another conundrum.

Your poor dogs. I'm glad they were ok.

I had yellow jackets chase me to my front door one time. I was mowing with a riding mower, making several passes over one area and the third time over it, I felt something prick my skin, but thought nothing of it since I had just removed my jacket and I was mowing next to a shrub that I thought poked me. But then I saw a wasp in front of me and looked to the side to see more and they started landing on me. I got off the mower and ran to the front door and told my girls to close off the room. They were young and didn't know why I took my pants off and was stomping on them since they had gone up my legs. It was close to 100 ft. that they chased me. That's the only time I've run across a ground nest. This spray coats them and kills them fast. We set a bug zapper next to the ground nest and once one got zapped, many others heard his alert and went after the zapper, so it killed a bunch of them. It was smoking from so many going in. Spraying is much easier and faster results too.
