I have just been diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL), which according to a Danish study is much more prevalent in those with a history of Lyme Disease. There is some indication that if you can eliminate the Lyme Disease, the MCL will be cured as well, as with cutaneous lymphomas that are Lyme related.
I've had Lyme Disease for 20 plus years, just diagnosed in 2013. Symptoms have included swollen hard muscles in legs, motor neuron disease, staggering gait, shooting pains in legs, fatigue, cognitive problems, and the most troublesome, severe hearing loss, noise distortion, sensitivity to noise, and tinnitus.
After 3 weeks treatment with doxycycline, the weakness, staggering gait, cognitive problems, pain, and some of the leg swelling and hearing symptoms cleared up. Since then I've been on doxycycline or minocycline plus cefuroxime off and on, until the detox/Herx symptoms get too much to bear. But my hearing symptoms and leg swelling are now worse, and my staggering gait has returned.
I think I need new antibiotics combined with herbals. Any suggestions? I'm also considering Hansa supplements. Any experience with these?
