Hello,

Does anyone know of a Lyme literate doctor in NC? I was one of the first people in NC diagnosed with Lyme Disease 25 years ago. This is my first time experiencing symptoms again and popping positive for Lyme's in blood work. I'm in the Piedmont area and would really like to see a specialist regarding my treatment. That being said, it would also need to be someone who accepts insurance. Since I was diagnosed the second time I was given a three week script of antibiotics (Doxycycline) and my symptoms have actually worsened.

If you click on my name my email will display. I have some names for you! Sorry to hear about this. Not sure about the insurance though - that you will have to check out. There are a lot that heal from lyme naturally using herbs so that is another option too that can be more affordable. There are some good herbal clinics down there as well.
