Mepron?

It's yellow, yucky, but works well! It should be taken with a fatty food. I used chase it with some peanut butter or nutella to get the taste out of my mouth.

Hope your daughter sees some progress with the mepron.

She's 30, been fighting LD for 6 yrs, she has improved, however doc figured babesia because of heavy, heavy, sweating......

She's buckled over with abdominal pain, I'm doing my best to research and I cannot thank you enough...

It's only her 2nd day on Mepron, she was told by the pharmacist to take on empty stomach....ughhhh, from what I can find, this is wrong.

I've read that she needs good fat, either before, or while taking it?

A note of inportance
I was given this info prior to taking Mepron by my doctor and thank goodness.

Be careful as some people get " Mepron blues "
This is a side affect and usually comes on suddenly but can be progressively and you can feel hopeless and even suicidal.

I was told if this happens stop the med til it clears and should take just 3 to 5 days.
This is very real and serious ! I had not ever had depression or these issues and suddenly it did hit after about two months on Mepron.
Good news was I stopped it and the feelings cleared and due to great progress on Mepron I restarted and the side affect no longer there. It did happen again months later but I knew what to do.

Lesson on Mepron.
Do not feel you have to ensure through this feeling and you can take breaks from Mepron and should if these are what your feeling.

If your not aware and keep taking it it can be dangerous and some people encourage others to push through herxes.

That is not good advice in this case especially.

Keep this in mind while on Mepron.

I never felt so hopeless in my life and I can see how serious this is. The weird thing is any posts I see about people feeling seriously hopeless as in medically psychologically and emotionally or suicudal they usually are on Mepron dosing.

Doctors need to warn there patients like mine did. !!
