Manuel,
I am sorry to hear about your wife's troubles.
I hear VERY good things about Dr. W in Pforzheim. He uses an alternative approach and has helped many. And he is not as expensive as many of the well-known lyme docs.
Please email me for details.

Dear all again,
my latest report about my wife are again worsening symptoms. Last night was horrible, she could not sleep and her right arm was completely numb, for the first time a paralysis of a complete member. Also new was in that night for her cardiac pain with palpitations. The right knee in last days paining a lot. Means right body side first and foremost with problems, I am afraid that due to the constant right hip problems now her complete right leg will fail. Whole body with symptoms like already for weeks, primarily neurological and lyme arthritis. It makes me crazy that she has got also now the lyme carditis. I read that this is normally more rare, only a few lyme pacients with carditis, but sometimes lyme carditis makes a pacemaker necessary.
My wife is finally today going back home. And then we have to look ASAP how to proceed, we need blood testing, proof of con-infections, cardiological checking and it is better to have a liquor testing, too many symptoms of neuroborreliosis, we made the mistake that we ignored the symptoms too long, that we did not change the doctor, that we thought in symptoms deriving from hashimoto and spine arthrosis, but it is worse, seems that the borrelia affected whole body of my wife and she's very late lyme, the borrelia already attacked brain and medulla, reason for which one I always mention the wheelchair. But what is a wheelchair if in case of lyme carditis my wife suffers a cardiac infarction or needs a pacemaker or she is going into dementia ?, then I do prefer the wheelchair.
Have a nice Sunday
Manuel
