Oh Don!

Ok, not sure if that was as humorous as intended, but I know you were trying to lighten things up. It did disappear and reappear, and I really have no clue why, but at least now I know I'm not hallucinating, bc I searched and searched for it (and one other post), and almost as soon as I posted about my post that had gone into the other dimension, it reappeared (ok, I also emailed one of the mods, so she might have made it reappear).

Seriously though, the forum is indeed a place where some of us who feel more isolated (bc we have no family, and of course, the lack of support in the medical community and the general population), a place where we can feel understood and supported.

So on that note, it's hard when you not only feel dismissed by doctors and all your old friends, but perhaps even by your own Lymie community? That's when you really start to feel down on yourself.

You know what I mean.

So it wasn't quite as Twilighty as all that; there were some more serious undertones to my moment of panic. That, and some Lyme-induced paranoia.

The Mods don't have the tools to make posts disappear and then reappear - we can delete a post - but only under certain circumstances like those that break rules. Otherwise we will loose our Moderator status. We have strict rules we have to abide by.

It's a computer glitch is all. Things like that happen from time to time. You may see "missing key" instead of "submit" for another example.

I was having a bad day anyway, yesterday.

I do know the post disappeared, and then "magically" reappeared.

So I guess it was indeed a computer glitch.

Didn't mean to get you involved.

Hope you're enjoying your grandchildren, etc. etc.

No problem!! I'm still around - LOL! I had to take a break from the forum due to needing time to let my body adjust to prescription thyroid and adrenal meds as well as a very intensive elimination diet that I had to go on. Too many years with untreated Lyme & company did more damage than I had realize. shakehead BUT - I'm healing and will be back to my normal soon!!! smilewinkgrin

You know what's funny; I think they disappeared again :) One of them was on briefly this morning, and then it went away.

I'm so sorry about the issues you are having with the site. One more thing - do be sure that your internet connection is good. Mine is iffy sometimes (like this morning! LOL!) and when I think I've posted something, it didn't really post.

Oh, my connection might not be that great.

Either that, or someone in the Twilight Zone doesn't like homeopathy.

That was Don's joke; when I complained about posts disappearing, he sent me a youtube link to the theme song for the Twilight Zone, and said that's where my posts had disappeared (see post above).

Yes, he sure can be!! I sure enjoyed having him as a Mod when he had the time. We sure miss him!!!
