LLMD or LLND who will treat my 1.5 year old?

I'm going to try posting this a different way bc I haven't heard from anyone.

We're in S. Florida so the closer the better, but we can also travel. Denver, CO is a place we travel frequently and have family there. So if anyone knows someone... Anywhere!?

do you know of any llmd's or llnd's in the area at all? I'm not familiar with llmd's in S. Florida.
You could always ask for llmd's in that area and then call each and ask if they see children.
My son who is four has lyme and I know that unfortunately not all llmd's take children. We did find an llmd in IL who would take on my son. He's her first pediatric patient, but I do think she's doing a good job and I'm happy with her.

There is Dr. Ann C out east who is one of the best pediatric lyme docs, but I have a feeling the wait time would be very long. (She's a speaker at conferences too.)

Yeah, maybe ask for the Denver and Florida llmds and then call them and see if they accept children as patients.

I hope you can find someone soon! Probably someone else will come by and know more. Since I'm in the midwest I don't know the dr.s out east, sorry.

we need more lyme doctors and especially pediatric lyme doctors!
I feel for you. When I was looking for an llmd for my son there were two I got excited about (for various reasons) only to find out they didn't treat children.

I hope that someone can help!

There is one for Chicago, and that's where I got lots of info and a few dr. names for us, and on for Iowa too, so perhaps there's one for s. Florida?

that's alright! I am convinced more than ever to do a natural cyst buster, and am actually considering trying a herbal protocol altogether with him. The abx have brought him a long way for certain, but having a yeast issue now (that does seem to be getting better though with the fluconazole and off abx, thankfully) and also the fact that he had so many tummy aches while on the abx the last three-four weeks on them, makes me want to try a herbal protocol and see how it goes. I've heard some positive and encouraging stories.

But, sure if you still mention to your llmd that question about possibly consulting, that would be great, but whenever is fine! Thanks!
