Did anyone see the story about Serena acting strange at Wimbledon? She had to quit the doubles tournament due to a "bug". Chris Evertt one of the announcers said she was acting like she had taken something to make her dizzy, uncoordinated etc. My thought is that lyme disease has reared its head again. Not sure how aggressively she was treated when she first got it.

Huh? When did Serena ever have Lyme disease? Those symptoms could be a result of anything, I wouldn't necessarily say it is Lyme.

I kind of wondered the same thing. It sounded Lyme like although she was sick and hospitalized in the past from what I have read. You can get Lyme from transfusions too.

I used to fan of tennis ..and don't remember Serena having Lyme disease - unless it was in the past few years.

Venus has Sjogren's, though.

Serena had it in 2007, I remember thinking finally someone famous to bring attention to this disease. Just google it or look at this link.
