yes, the skin gets red, and looks like a sunburn but is more painful. The fire feeling does sound more neurological, and I would not say it is related to the doxy. When I herxed with doxy, it was the same every time for me - I would get pinchy and itchy under my skin and then my symptoms would worsen.

as for the canadian international drug market - yes, the drugs from canada are cheaper, but you must question the quality. Canada gets most of the drugs from other countries, including Mexico - so even though the caps or tabs look the same, most often they are not as good as the "real thing". And plus, the pharmacies that dispense these drugs make a ton of money on these drugs and it is illegal, bc they have to be smuggled into the country. Not a good situation, but it is common, unfortunately. And it is not the doctor you need to trust, its the pharmacist - most of the doctors don't know the details of what i just told you.

Thank you for your response!! I don't know why they won't cover it:( CVS just told me they won't. They have to special order it too because they don't usually carry that kind of doxy. I will call my insurance company tomorrow.

Now I am scared to take this drug..... Do you think I shouldn't go through with it...? The internal drug market has a website that looks legit, but you never know.

hmmm have you tried an independent pharmacy? this doesn't sound right. Is your LLMD registered with insurance companies? Bc it may not be the drug, but it may be the Dr. who isn't covered. If you have an independent pharmacy to go to, bring the RX to them and they will be able to provide you with answers.

what dose are you supposed to be on? Do you actually have the doxy from canada on hand already?

Also he is not registered with insurance companies, I didn't think.

Yes sorry its doxycycline HYC DR 150 mg tab. He said he wants to up my dose but wants to see how my stomach tolerates this dose first. the other doxy really messed me up, it hurt just to breath and was coughing a lot. Totally not like me.
