Random herx day.... So much for my trend... I've had horrible worsening of symptoms, twitching like crazy, and this new migrating stabbing joint pain that is awful - never had this before. My spine is killing me... I swear its in my spine!!
Been in bed crying since my husband got home at 6 and now, of course, I can't sleep. I want to punch my snoring husband... Lol! Kidding. But seriously!!!! Errrr
Thanks for "hearing" me vent. Someone tell me this will pass...
I didn't use the cats claw for a week and went back on it a couple days ago, and just began taking 4 inner defense as of yesterday. I was on 2 for a few days, upped it to 3 for about
4 days and now taking 4. Maybe that's why.... I don't know.

Do you think it is because of the cats claw? Is that the same as samento? Sorry youare sstruggling, understand your frustration. Hang in there.

Yes, it will pass! I had a day this week where I was just praying to get through my herx. It was terrible and scary.
lol on punching your spouse. I am laughing as I type. I have a darling hubby that can really raise the roof in a bad way with his snoring. What can you do though? Hope you pass out before they do!!
This too shall pass! Hang in.

What can you do? Sleep in separate rooms, lol! I've been doing that for 15 years now--works for us!
Good luck to you both and passing healing thoughts to you...

Hi Delmar,
I'm so very sorry to hear that you are suffering like this!!
There was a super moon last night and again tonight - this will cause many Lyme patients' symptoms to flare, as if in a herx. Do what you can to get through the next couple of days before really changing things to see if your symptoms will calm back down. Sometimes some extra detoxing helps!!

Thanks everyone! :) feeling a little better this morning - still major back pain/spine pain. :(
Traveler - I didn't realize it was a super moon, that definitely could have something to so with it. That's crazy! I will up the detoxing!
Roxie - yeah, samento is toa free cats claw I believe. I think they both work similarly, but depending on who you ask one may work better than the other. Both can cause a herx reaction for sure.

It's most likely the Inner Defense. Cat's claw isn't near as powerful as those oils. You wouldn't think one extra pill could make such a difference but it absolutely can. When I take monolaurin under a gram I don't herx but that extra cap that pushes me over will hit my muscles like a ton of bricks. You may need to back off to three for a while before pushing back up depending on what you can tolerate.

Delmar sleep with ear plugs, I have the same problem with my hubby snoring and wouldn't get much sleep without them.
Hope your feeling better soon.

Delmar -THIS WILL PASS - a lot of us are feeling the nasties a little more so than usual, lately - you know it's full moon!! Roll hubby onto his side or rub some of that snoring remedy essential oils on his big toes and soles of feet.
HANG IN THERE, D.!!

It was likely a combination of all of those things that you mentioned, Delmar. So happy that things have calmed down some!
And so that you know - I went through a period where I had horrible spine pain too. I even had spasms in the muscles that are on either side of the spine that would jerk my torso around some. Scary stuff - who needs horror movies????
