After being diagnosed by an LLMD with Lyme in 2011 (positive 23 IgG, 41 IgG) and tons of clinical symptoms, I was put on the usual doxy 100 mg 2x/day. I took for 30 days and symptoms dissipated. LLMD moved out of area. Had surgery in December 2012 and symptoms resurfaced in early 2013 and I went to rheumy. Test came back positive 23 IgG, 41 IgG and positive 39 IgM but naturally was told Negative. I was lucky to find a local GP who believes in recurrence and he put me back on Doxy. Took again for 30 days and symptoms dissipated. Had surgery again in April 2013 and a few weeks later symptoms back with vengence. Hair loss was concerning and I found a product called A/G Pro amino acid supplement. I began both doxy and supplement at same time. After a couple of weeks noticeable improvement in symptoms. Continued on A/G Pro after doxy and symptoms were negligible. Surgery again in Sept. 2013 and had to stop A/G pro prior to it. Several Weeks later hair loss and Lyme symptoms back full force. Back on Doxy and started A/G Pro again. Symptoms disappeared. Needed surgery again in April 2014 and back off A/G Pro. Again several weeks after hair loss and all Lyme symptoms back. Back on Doxy but didn't have any A/G Pro. Doxy not working great and hair loss driving me nuts so I ordered A/G Pro and just started taking it several days ago. After the 3rd day I notice a significant decrease in Lyme symptoms (although it took time for the hair shedding to slow the last few times). Is it possible that the amino acid supplement is having an effect on the Lyme?
