I just told you what you have and how it might have caused your problem. If Lithium levels are low, treating bart won't make you better. If aluminum levels are high, curing bart probably won't happen.
Georgia Hunter - there is no way you could diagnose her, so please be more careful with word choices. If she has depression, can I tell her that her serotonin levels are low and that her Neurotransmitter (BH4) Cycle is not functioning properly?
No one on this board should take anything I say as definitive. They should do their own research and come to their own conclusion. If you would like me to put this statement at the bottom of each of my posts, I do not mind.
Would it be better if I didn't post? I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. And I unfortunately have to diagnose people every day. Are you a medical professional, Georgia Hunter? Even if you are, you haven't examined anyone on this forum, unless they have come to your office or home. If you are a medical professional, we still have a rule about
not distributing medical advice here:
"8. If you are a medical professional, do not use the forums to distribute professional medical advice and/or promote your services. "
If you aren't a medical professional, then you still shouldn't be handing out medical advice. You are more than welcome to explain what you have learned and we welcome your knowledge, but to tell someone that they have any kind of condition when only seeing posts on a forum is not good.
Many of us come very close to diagnosing people on this forum - but there is a fine line that we try to not cross, so we use words like "I suggest..." or "it seems to me that...." , not "I just told you what you have".
I would like to work this out if need be, as you do share some wonderful information, but I would rather it be off forum if we need to discuss this further. Would you email me if you wish to discuss this further? Thank you.
