Hi everyone.
I saw my new LLMD today and I really like her! She is a functional medicine MD, and has about a 50% Lyme patient population. The only concern for me is that she might not be aggressive enough. I've been on tons of antibiotics for a year, and even my old LLMD was weaning me off, and slowly getting me on herbs for suspected Babesia. So, I guess this new doctor might even be thinking along the same lines as my old one. Anyway, as soon as my antibiotics run out, which will be within a week or 2, I'm supposed to start this:
Thorne ISO-PHOS (cortisol help)
Tox-Ease-GL (detox)
Artemisinin (Babesia)
BLt (Lyme and Bartonella)
Nattokinnase (biofilm)
Parsley (detox)
She said she is seeing good results with the BLt, a microbial.
She also mentioned that my vertigo could be from Babesia, but I might also need IV at some point :(
I feel excited because she spent a lot of time with me, and wants me to have another Lyme test done through some other lab, as well as a full nutritional lab for mold, gluten, etc.
She also wants me to have the 23 and Me done.
I feel like she is getting to some of the underlying issues this disease has created. I'm just scared to stop my antibiotics because I'm not much better after a year on them, but I do not want to get any worse.
Has anyone tried any of these supplements, or addressed any nutritional/genetic issues that caused a positive turn-around?
