Hello,

I would not normally post a doc’s name here but he makes no secret about treating Lyme. If it’s an issue and the post needs to come down I understand.

I was wondering if anyone has seen him and how it went? I am reading his book currently. From what I gather he is one of the leading LLMDs in the country.

Yes it's no secret about him treating Lyme.  I don't think there's any risk of him getting in trouble anyways since New York has passed a law to protect Lyme Doctors anyways. 


He is actually moved on from treating Lyme more towards advocacy and spreading the word of properly treating these kinds of diseases.  He goes to different countries, conferences, and teaches about treatment of these diseases. 


You can still goto his clinic, but he has a few Doctors that work there and treat these illnesses.  But I don't think he does.  They still treat based on his principles though. 

He has got lots of people very well.  I remember the one lady was saying "not even a tingle!".  lol that is pretty impressive.  He is a perfectionist, and he won't settle for anything less then the best possible outcome. 

I sure wish I could have him as my LLMD.  He has over 12000 different patients experience!  If he was my LLMD I probably wouldn't be so indecisive about treatment.

Has the NY Governor actually signed the bill protecting Lyme docs yet? Last I heard, the bills were sitting on his desk awaiting his signature...

Well I edited your post, which messed it all up, so I edited it again!!! mad Grrr!! I hate it when that happens!!!

The only thing I wanted to do was to change the title to "Dr H". Since he's made no bones about who he is and what he does (yea!!! turn), we all know who he is anyway.

Dr. H is the one LLMD that I just almost completely agree with!!smhair I didn't realize this until he started speaking out of course, and it actually shocked me! LOL! I think he takes almost everything into consideration when evaluating a person for these infections and why they may not heal.

I wish he would train more doctors to think like him! LOL!

His book, "Why Can't I Get Better?" (Even though the title makes me cringe a little! So hard to think of those days.) is really excellent and a valuable guide for anyone with tick-borne diseases.

Horowitz is great, very knowledgeable. I know one family friend who improved greatly seeing him, but also have a family member who didn't. The one who didn't stopped seeing him five years ago, and I would suspect he knows a lot more now than then. I also understand that no doctor has all the solutions for such a complex disease.

i should have got his audio book, i got his book last yr when it came out, but i cant read still
