prozac for ocd/tics

Has anyone had success with prozac for ocd/tics? My son, yes, lyme/brain/neuro, finally has started to take the prozac, but will not take the seroquil.

Just wonder if anyone has had success. Also, how long does it take for ocd and tics to resolve. He has been on Doxy for 2 months now and Pinella brain cleansing for about 2 weeks. - also on probiotic between doxy doses.

How old is your son? I've been on Prozac but for depression, so don't know if the response is the same, but for me it took about 2 months for it to fully kick in.

I hope it helps your son quickly!

Just watch him the first 1-2 months.... There are suicidal tendencies when first adjusting to the Prozac in younger people. I felt very suicidal the first month. Never felt that way before Prozac. So just keep an eye on him just in case. Once it kicks in, that side effect goes away.
