Tomorrow Last Day of Doxycycline, What Treatment to Choose After ? Planing Baby

Hey there,

Writing female from Lithuania , DX - Lyme desease( didnt notice when ticks bites me ), for 21 days taking Doxycycline 200mg . DX was made because of bullseye on skin. Blood test I should make after 3 weeks of taking Doxycycline(tomorrow). From symptoms - vertigo, hands shaking, neck pain. Today is last pill of Doxyceclyne, 95% of bullseye is gone. In my city there is no good physicians. Want to ask yours advice. What should i do next? Will be anough from treaments - Doxycycline? Should i try alternative medecine? Start Detox now ? Helping imune system with medecaments ? Planing baby . Please dont ignore my answers.

Welcome to the forum barmoley! I'm sorry to hear there are no good doctors for you. Maybe there are some in in another city. Here we have some Lyme literate doctors who have had training to diagnose and treat Lyme disease, so maybe there is something like that in your country.

I would suggest you hold off on planning to have a baby until you get through the infection. It would be hard on you and and the baby since it could be passed on.

Maybe you can recommend doctor from this forum ? What the chance to cure Lyme permanently if Lyme was noticed in early stage?
