Ah man, I think lyme is the least of my issues. My problem is mold. I have 20,000 Times more mold spores in the air in my basement than I should. I'm screwed. It's made me so sick.

This is going to sound CRAZY… but can you sleep in a tent in your backyard? Or at least keep all your windows open?

I had some mold remediated in my house at the beginning of the year. But I live in a damp neighborhood so it is critical to keep my house open all the time. I've been closing it up at night (I live alone) but that had to change. I had to travel while back and was gone for 2 wks and I totally lost a week after returning (the house had been closed up that whole time)—I literally don't remember that week. So, there is still probably a mold problem.

Anyway, it's summertime so was hoping you could at least keep your windows open and if you could find a way to sleep somewhere else that would at least help.

So sorry you're experiencing this—I think you've posted a time or two about Dr Shoemaker's website, which will have essential info for you—and he also does phone consultations if you're interested.

Yeah, my house is young but my mold man was shocked at the problem. We live in wet, moldy Massachusetts so basements flood and mold grows behind walls. I have a massive problem in my basement and my bedroom. So I left my house. I'm staying out until the remediation. I'll have to throw away all my stuff since its airborne. It's crazy.

So I've gotten so sick so fast and my throat is still burning. I'm going to the mountains for a week to get some pure oxygen. Then I'm going to a mold specialist here and hope for the best. They do bioenergetic testing and will recommend treatment. After remediation, I'll look into temp housing and then a move. If I make no improvement after all this, I'll have to try sponagule or a mold treatment clinic for detoxification, if I have any money left.

Mold man told me I have lots of toxins being exposed to these levels for over a decade. And with air samples that bad, what is actually behind the walls could be scary.

Louis I am in the same boat. We are also in mass and I have enhaled a ton. Was running on a treadmill before we caught it. If you have any questions let me know, we are currently working the insurance to have the house remediated. Can also advise you about remediation if you chose that route.

Also, can you please email me how you got that test done and who your mold doctor is. I am desperate!!!!

Don't take any chances leave and stay somewhere clean if you can.

I'm really sick, just lost my gallbladder Friday to all of this. Would love some feedback since you are local!!!

Wow, what a nightmare. At least now you know the cause of all your throat pain. My bedroom is in my basement and I've been having a hard time swallowing lately. I've had sores in my mouth and throat and pills won't go down. I guess I'll move up and see if it helps. I sure hope you start feeling better soon!

Lucky for us there is a long term stay hotel nearby. We are out. Remediation in the works. This is not easy, but hopefully we are on the right path now.

@pictureofhealth - I have that symptom too. I'm not in a basement and no mold here that I know of.

Well my exposure has been at super high levels fir at least ten years. I'm guessing I can't detox it. And at some point, I picked up lyme along the way. stress and grief have put me in this bad state of health.

It's been a day away. Last night I slept pretty well, I've had massive insomnia for months. But no miracles so far. I have a consult next week about how to treat it, so I'll post more then.
