ebola cured but not lyme

Ebola is a virus and Lyme is a bacteria. I don't think there are any conspiracies. I think Lyme is just a difficult infection to treat and it gets deep into tissues.

When the immune sysytem starts to fight the virus, it's easy. Also Ebola stays in the blood. It is a thread like virus that pokes lots of microscopic holes in the cells and you could bleed from the inside if it gets and enough. But it stays generally in the blood stream. Imagine Lyme getting deep into tissues and making a biofilm colony there. The concentration of antibiotics to that location is going to be pretty low, the immune system can't get there either. It is just the nature of the bacteria to be like that. The cure they found was an experimental drug and it is a miracle it worked for them. They may use this drug on other people too now.

They have a vaccine foming out soon for ebola.

also there are others that have survived ebola, about 40-50% that catch it survive.

I wonder how priorities are set, ebola has flared up a handful of times in the last 50 years. Lyme and co keeps increasing inblast 50 years. B3ing cynical im sure it has to do with profits. It appears to be a larger outbreak this time and I feel for those infected.

I started to whatch a video with dr shapiro and some othet dr that was arrogant a d condescending to lyme patients and was conducted after airing initially of under our skin. Got to angry at their opinions and atyitudes, could not finish.

I read a few days ago that there might be something like a "cure" for Lyme and other bacterial infections so we may see something in the next few years.

From what I read, bacteria communicate with each other via chemical signals which are sent through the blood stream to warn others. When bacteria sense a threat (antibiotics entering the system for example) they excrete a chemical and bacteria like Lyme either turn into something else for protection or bury themselves deeper into tissue or use whatever mechanism they know to survive. Well, this new "cure" blocks the chemical signal so other bacteria are not 'warned" of the danger and the antibiotics are much more effective at killing them.

I am sorry that I can't explain it well, but when I read the article it made sense and gave me hope that a cure might be in the horizon. I pray there is so that others don't have to experience the hell that Lyme can be.

As far as comparing Lyme to Ebola, let us be glad that Lyme doesn't work as quickly as Ebola or that it isn't as deadly, otherwise, many of us would be dead by now.
