Hi everyone,

I'm having a very bad inflammation pain near my gallbladder for months... The doctors made many tests and they don't see stones. They see a slightly enlarged liver and two specialists said they see a "stenosis" but my other specialist says there is no stenosis!! He said he can do an ERCP test but that could cause more issues (pancreas, etc.) and it's very invasive. It's more of an inflammed pain (not an attack.) It starting to get really annoying because it's disrupting my sleep.

I have been doing a lot of reading and research... It seems many people with lyme have gallbladder pain! I was on two months of IV Rocephin which ended 8 months ago.

Does anyone have some tips to help me save my gallbladder and heal this painful inflammation?? I need some relief! Ouch.

I had something similar, had ct scan as well as ultrasound but nothing was found. What helped me was castor oil and a heating pad as well as milk thistle. I also took digestive enzymes that helped.

Thanks Kitkate! I'm sorry you've been experiencing the same pain. I take milk thistle and do castor oil packs for 2 months now. It helps temporarily but doesn't get fully better. I was taking digestive enzymes but stopped as it also didn't seem to help. I think I will re-start them again though. I started taking some radish tablets today. They are supposed to be like a natural antibiotic. Maybe they will help?

Some conventional antibiotics may be causing the problem (I don't know if you taking any and good quality probiotics help)... In any case, I have done this gallbladder/liver cleanse a couple of times now and afterward I feel great!

Hi Denise,

Thanks for the tip... I'm just a bit scared of the "flushes" as I already have an inflamed feeling. I have been off abx for 8 months now. I also take probiotics but doesn't seem to help.

I'm thinking coffee enemas?

Hi there DawnLouise, one tip that comes to mind is that Lemon water would help as an aided remedy. I doubt it will completely resolve your gallstones.... but you never know, anythings possible! Thank you, Courtney! I'm drinking lemon water daily in my tea... Not really helpful yet.

The doctors have done many tests and don't see gallstones? It's strange. I have never had an "attack." I'm just having a really sore, inflammed pain in that area. Two doctors say they see a stenosis, the other specialist says NO stenosis.

I'm thinking it's lyme inflammation or maybe parasites?? So hard to know but it hurts! :(

Youre welcome Dawn! I just wish I could be of more assistance though. Thats good that you already are drinking something with lemon juice then!

I know that Rocephin is well known to affect the gallbladder unfortunately. Two months isnt as long as compared to some but there isnt really a time limit for those kind of things either :-/ As you said, it is strange...If you have had many tests done and they dont see any gallstones.....jeez who knows-it could be the old lyme causing inflammation as it loves to do in our bodies! Whatever is causing it, I sure hope you can find some relief soon hun...what your experiencing doesnt sound like much fun AT ALL!

Yeah, good ole Lyme might just be the culprit... Or parasites/candida?! Could be a combination?

I'll keep experimenting :)
