Tingling in brain sensation

The main symptom I have right now.  Is tingling in the brain!  It is just not going away!  It feels like tingling in the scalp, but at times it even feels a little deeper, and in the outter layers of the brain, or maybe even the inner layers?  Sometimes it almost feels like a sharp tingling that is a bit painful, but it's not really pain?  Right now it is also accompanied by a mild headache.  The symptoms I have got to Lyme are truly bizarre... And 90% of them I had never experienced before in my entire life. 

Does anyone else get this symptom?  Has it ever resolved?  Is it due to ongoing infection or is it because of nerve damage that needs to heal? I never had anything like this before lyme disease.  Now after Lyme I am getting this on and off quite frequently.  All my other symptoms are pretty much resolved.  But this one is going on strong today.

I took 1 minocycline on an empty stomach. Drank lots of water and then got a bad headache in just a few minutes after and now the tingling is cleared up pretty much completely. But I got a headache. What does that suggest?

Anyone else experience this?

Are you taking anything else for another condition? I had something similar happen to me when I was on medication for my acid reflux. I was on omeprazole/prilosec that first gave me my significant brain fog. I felt like I was going crazy, the tingling was toward the frontal lobe area and sometimes felt deeper. At some points I thought I was having an aneurysm or something.

It's scary but I think you'll be okay.

I WISH he would talk to me and tell me what is going on in his head.... everyone got home from the beach before and he was holding his ears... all the noise?

For the first time in a year, while they were gone, he was compassionate and human to me. You all know my sadness and stress.... I severely dislocated my pinkie (bent sideways outward at the joint), and broke the hand bone so I have plate and screws in April and had surgery - God bless - in one day by a great hand surgeon who did my older son's a few years ago.

Well, I SMASHED the pinky this morning in the food store getting soda for my oldest to sell at college out of his room - likes to tell people he is the "coke dealer" makes about $200 a year since they only have pepsi in the cafeteria.... PAIN - then SMASHED it again tonight while everyone was out. Dropped to the floor yelling (I have a VERY high tolerance for pain, but let me tell you....) - SO, for the first time in at least a year... My younger son call "are you ok"? from the dining room - I almost fell over. He then came in the kitchen to check and handed me an ice pack and said here, this should help you feel better and left the room. I sobbed.... not sure my hand pain or him, well probably him.

He's had no emotion / compassion for over a year... brain lyme, rage, viciousness, psych ward, etc. and he was to be top 10 in class, star of theater shows, eagle scout - he has it all done except the project....

Lyme Pickle - I could really use you to coach him, pull him through this crap and guide him....NO CRAP.

I could barely answer, so he came in, got an ice pack out of the freezer and handed it to me saying here, this should make you feel better.... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like nothing to you all, but to me, the world! He is still in there! Lots of body movement though and really stressing as he wants a full 10th grade honors schedule with no leniency..... and he has not started the 2 book reading summer requirement!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't mind, I wanted him home with me until Jan. with home instruction and to repeat last year with same teachers in spring session - no, he wants to do it all.

Lyme Pickle, if you could pull your s--- together, maybe you could pull him through and he the same for you! Where are you ?

I have tingling on the top of my head. It is not from meds that I know of. I think it is a symptom of Lyme.

I get that once in a while too. Sometimes just for a few second, sometimes on and off for an hour or so. No idea what it's from though... Would be interesting to research though and see if we can figure out what causes it.
