Hi!

I recently heard about a problem that causes the body unable to detox the toxins. Its name is KPU/HPU that was written down by Dr.Klinghardt. He claims that over 80% of lyme sufferers have this metabolic disorder.
Do you aware/have you tried this detox protocol (or have you tested positive for HPU/KPU)? And what about think of the whole lyme protocol of Klinghardt? Did it work for somebody?

There was a gal in Under Our Skin that I believe got better under his care and protocol. However I have not seen her actual protocol. I know she started with abx and then at some point moved to more naturals, id like to know what her protocol was. I do know it took her awhile to recover.

So, it might work. I have made the HPU/KPU test this week, and yesterday I got the results: negative... But this was a german lab, and Klinghardt says, only a Dutch lab is reliable. I do not know... I think despite that my consistent headache, dizziness, and brain fog is still caused by toxins.

Have you tried Pinella by Nutramedix? It's a brain nerve cleanse - my son has taken it for two months and it's def. done some cleaning out. LLMD told me to get it on our first visit. Son was on doxy for a month and getting worse - the cleanse took a couple of weeks, but then started seeing improvement.

Have you read anything about healing kids with autism? It's fascinating because the same principles can apply to adults with neuroinflammation and neurological disorders from toxins. I'm reading a book about this by Dr. Amy Yasko.

But there are about 25 genetic defects to test for and then you alter your protocol based on results. They all play with role with neurotransmitter, and detox pathways. The one you mentioned was one, another is MTHFR then there are a few other biggies. If you are negative for that I would look into a genetic mutation profile
