Hello everyone!
I recently got CD8-CD57 lymph results back... mine were 44. The normal range is 60-360, and anything lower than that is supposedly indicative of chronic lyme. Does anyone know if this is true? Or what else might cause this number to be low?
A short summary of my symptoms...I have been sick for over a year with terrible headaches 24/7, neck pain and stiffness, anxiety, insomnia, inability to concentrate/brain fog, and a variety of other symptoms. Some weeks I have insane amounts of nervous energy and am panicky all day, and then the next week I will be so fatigued I can barely lift my arms to take a shower. It seems to cycle between the two with no happy medium. Just overall feeling awful and I don't know what to do. I am 21 years old and am in college but have had to withdraw because I cannot focus and am in so much pain all the time. I have seen general practice doctors, a neurologist, a psychiatrist, an osteopathic dr, a therapist, an endocrinologist, a nutritionist, and an integrative doctor. I have tried various SSRI's, migraine medication, botox injections for the headaches, anxiety meds, and a ton of supplements. Nothing has helped :(
I got a western blot test done and the only reactive band was the 41 IGG band. Overall I was negative according to the western blot, but I'm not sure if having the 41 band reactive is significant?
Basically I am wondering... would a Lyme diagnosis make sense based low CD8-CD57 lymphs, a reactive 41 band, and the symptoms I am having? ANY input from anyone would be so greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! :)
