Okay, I know I should be "seasoned" enough to know this... However, this is the first time I've completely switched abx.
I was in Zithro from 4/24 (until 3 days ago) 8/30, was on Ceftin for 6 weeks, and stopped both ceftin and zithro (8/30), started doxy on 8/31, and though I was feeling pretty yucky (hence the switch), now almost everything is heightened... My emotions, my pain, my back issues.... But I'm almost positive this shouldn't be a "life cycle", in past months this is my best time....
Any thoughts? Is it because of the switch? If so, why does a switch make you herx if its not during the life cycle...? Shouldn't most of the "bugs" either be dead or "hiding"? Or is doxy just getting to new places, and/or a more effective drug?
Thanks for any words of support/advice/knowledge. In a rough place at the moment.
