Babesia Panels
I live about
40 minutes from my LLMD. They gave me a kit inside a fed ex bag with the IGeneX form. They told me which labs would do draw. For me it was my local Quest lab. You may need to call or email with IGeneX and they should be able to tell you what standard labs will do the draw and ship. You have to do the draw Mon or Tuesday before 11 so that it ships out that day. The lab that does the draw takes care of the rest. I expected to have to take to fed ex.
It is a full two sided paper. I can fax the sheet if that would be helpful. I go to the LLMD that is associated with IGeneX. They are brothers.
It was up to me if I only wanted to do the initial Lyme Panel or do that and the co-infection panel with Bartonella FISH and Babesiosis b duncani IgG and IgM Antibody.
I had a bullseye 16 months before but had no idea what that meant. I have other pain issues from spine and nerve issues. We didn't understand why I was declining so quickly.
My first test came back negative for the co-infections and IgM positive in 18, 23-25, and IND in 41 and 83-93. My IgG was ++ 18 + 41 and IND for 39.
I was put on two antibiotics and tested 3 weeks later. Those results were IgM + 18, 31, 39, 41, and 66 and IND in 23-25, 34, 83-93.
Without some form of medication the Lyme wasn't easily detectable even by IGeneX.
