Collecting names of LL doc's for Toby and Cat53

Hi all,
I only have the names of 2 LL docs in Oregon and Cat and Toby need a good one!! If you have any leads on a good LL doc, please send them to me, so that I can pass them on to Cat and Toby.

I think she's pretty well covered now. I talked to the Lyme group leader too and he agreed with my suggestion of our doctor for our area since he has talked to many Lyme patients about their doctor experiences. There is no perfect one and there are very few around our area.

Okay, thank you for letting me know what was happening with this! I hope that they can find the right one for their situation quickly!

At least you have some there though!! In Arkansas, I'm still not aware of any! Good thing I can use herbs and know which ones will heal me! eyes

You're welcome. I'm guessing it will be a while before he is able to go to a doctor. He has more healing to do, but maybe he'll be ready if he takes our appts. in Oct.

My daughter and I knew nothing about Lyme until we went to this doctor so our insurance would start paying some of our medical bills. After the first appt., he suggested my dd should get a Lyme test first thing, so she did and we started the journey. about a year later I told him I wondered if I should get tested, even though I was doing ok and he said it would be a good idea. If we hadn't gone to him, we probably still wouldn't know what was going on with our daughter.

Yes, we are lucky to have a couple in this part of the country where not many know about or accept Lyme.

Wow, Breaking free blush Thank you! But we are no different that anyone else that reaches out to others that are suffering as well - we just have a bit more of a 'public face' since we are Mods here I think.

If we all reached out to help the others that we can reach (in person, on the phone or online), then the whole community can be helped. And what you all do on here - reaching out and helping by answering as well as you can to each post that you respond on - is a big deal as well.

So thank you to each and everyone one of you that does whatever you can to help another here or elsewhere! Together we can make everlasting changes in people's lives.
