newbie...anyone have bilateral facial numbness that is fleeting

I am new here but hopeful for answers.. I started having symptoms of lightheadedness and a little vestibular problems problems 3 years ago. A year later I started to have a little bit of lightheadedness tingling and numbness on both sides of my face lost and kept off 20 lbs without trying. Sometimes flourescent lights bother me and at times adrenaline rushes. Many mris..cat scans show nothing. Disregarded by drs and told probably migraines. Lyme came back reactive for only one band..23 kd(IGM)...not sure what that means but looking for hope for an answer. 52 yo female.

My LLMD mentioned facial numbness is a big indicator of Lyme. I had it as well as all your other symptoms. My lips went blue when my face was numb. It is gone after some on-going treatment but I do still have left ear numbness. I also lost 40lbs in about 3 weeks on my on set of illness. My friend who had lyme lost around 60lbs in 8 months. Note: I never tested positive for Lyme on any of my tests or mris but based on my gross number of symptoms it was a bit absurd for all my Dr.s not to look into it more. Lack of more current information in the general medical community. I am not a DR but a good lyme literate doctor can at least diagnose or rule it out and try and point you in the right direction. Infectious disease and regular MDs are a waste of time in my opinion for Lyme disease ( if that is what you have? ). They just don't have the enough experience with it.
