Hello everybody,
I would like to ask if any of you have experience with BCA clinic in Augsburg, Germany as I am thinking about being treated there. Thank you

I went to Sponaugle and after my experience I would never go to Augsburg. From what I have heard they only treat with antibiotics and they do not do any genetic testing or treat the problems that genetic mutations cause. If you have HLA or MTHFR genetic mutations then you will not be helped by strictly antibiotic protocol. HLA mutation causes you to not be able to detox Lyme toxins and mold. MTHFR prevents your body from using vitamins B9 and B12. If you have HLA you need to be treated for biotoxin mold illness. I am on Cholestyramine for that. For MTHFR you need to be on methylated B9 and B12 for the rest of your life plus most people need either IVs or shots of these vitamins to get them out of the worst deficiency. IMO you will just waste a lot of money on IV antibiotics without getting to the root of the problem. Now I have never been there neither do I know anyone who has been but that's what I have heard. You might want to find a dr. who will test you for these mutations and for organic solvents. When I was at Sponaugle a large number of people there had very high levels of benzene or toluene and they had NO idea where they got exposed. Very scary in my opinion. I was treated in April and May of this year and am at nearly 100%.

thank you so much, as I see I have some serious gaps in my knowledge. I ve never heard any of this u mentioned. Need to find some more information. U think is possible to make these tests in Slovak republic or Czech republic as I never heard of them.

I am from the Czech Republic but I live in the US now. Where are you? I don't know if they are available there. Let me do some research! My sister goes to an LLMD in Prague who is open to new ideas so he might be able to help.

I did a quick search on here, and came up with the threads listed in this link to help you find some information on the BCA clinic:

For testing, the best labs to use are Igenex (www.igenex.com/) or Stony Brook Labs (medicine.stonybrookmedicine.edu/pathology/tick).
They train their people to do the testing properly, instead of rushing through it and they use the best testing materials.

Do you have a doctor that will draw the blood for you? You can order a test kit from Igenex (I don't know about Stoney Brook labs) that has instructions for how to collect the blood and how to send it.

You can do some things that should help you feel a bit better now though. You can clean up your diet {little to no processed foods, no sugar (stevia is a good choice)}. You can start detoxing - we have great suggestions in our "New to Lyme? Start here!" thread.

I'm in Belgium and had the Borrelia Elispot ltt done (at the lab in Augsburg) which came back positive.

If you contact the lab that goes with the clinic 'Infectolab' by email, they will send you a testkit with instructions on how to send your blood to them through DHL.

You just need a gp to draw your blood, that's all.

It takes about 9 days to get the results.

I heard many things about the clinic itself, not all positive... I have never been there myself though, I'm getting treatment in my country. But you can just use the lab as many Europeans do.

Bridgestone I felt like something was eating every single cell in my body. I had terrible joint and muscle pain and this indescribable nausea. I had a hard time walking and it was such suffering that all I could do was cry. Within 2 weeks I had a hard time swallowing, breathing, my face, hands, and feet were going numb. My hair was falling out and I was losing my voice, I could not eat and had vision and hearing problems. The list goes on but this is the general gist of it. Brain fog, no memory, etc.etc.

Sorry for you, but i have the same symptoms like u, and like you said more and more..,

And what for meds do you have now?
Only one? Ore more?

I am nearly 100% better. I stopped all tick borne disease medication at the beginning of May. I collapsed last year in August. Now I am only on several vitamins and supplements and I also take Cholestyramine for mold and Armour for my thyroid. That's it thank God!

Thank you for all your replies, they are very helpful. The problem is I am only 22 years old and all money I need has to be provided by my parents. I had to interrupt my studies and because of lyme I am not able to work...this wouldn´t be such a problem if my parents knew English and have more knowledge about lyme disease. When I try to explain them they think I am overreacting. It is because we have some - around 8 cases of lyme disease around us and all of them are doing just ok without no longterm treatment, just shortterm ATB - lucky people. One of them is my dad who has at least 5 ticks every summer and had also the rash and positive tests but he has no symptoms of lyme disease. Furthermore, I am one of that patient who looks great but feels absolutely awful. Now my mum is willing to send me in Augsburg for treatment but according to your recommendations and what I ve read I am not sure it is a good choice and afraid it would be just waste of money. In my country there is just one LLMD and her way of treatment consists of prescribing oral ATB for long time with no regular testing, just liver tests by your GP, and she is not opened to herbal remedies. So that´s my "wonderful" situation....

What a bleef.... I used MMS 6months together! Every single day 5drops every hour 8 hours at day.

I began to use it at 2013(new year) and i am still alive. But in 2013 at juni i stoped, because i exely didnt know what i drink.

A lot of symptoms gone, i was near 90% , but in jan. 2014 symptoms returned, but not all...

I know, but i tried it out , and it was first think that helped me...

And this is not funny, because i wanna find better proofed stuffs, that can help me like MMS or nearly. :(((

Doxy, mino, rifampicin... are nothing compare to MMS, SCARRY, BUT TRUE... :S

All I can say I feel so sorry for the people in former Soviet Bloc. There is exactly NO help! There is usually one LLMD per three countries who is hounded by everyone and does not know much to begin with. It is so sad. As horrible as it is here in the US at least the help can be gotten undercover with money. But all of those countries, and they are all full of ticks, are left with no help at all. So wrong! It is even hard to get things to detox with. Like no Epsom salt, no activated charcoal, no Cholestyramine, and on and on it goes.

Most of the products can be obtained from amazon.de, Kräuterhaus Sanct Bernhard and very hard to get things like Houtenayia,(or how you spell it??????) from a chemist in Freiburg which ships abroad.

I get my Green Vibrance from a company in Wales,the shipping costs are quite reasonable.

What helps the most?...........Turmeric,Boswellia,Rose Hip, Green Vibrance and my beloved Green Lipped Mussel extract,plus my ionic footbath.

As far as I know Cholestyramine can only be obtained on prescription.As for testing, Ausberg is the lab that most GPs use for all kinds of testing.You could try contacting the Bundesärzte Kammer,they will help you to find other addresses.Hope this helps a little :-)
