You can ask the vet. I think there is a blood work they do on dogs to find some tick borne infection. Not the in house snap test that they usually do. They draw blood and send it to the lab. Now, are these tests as inaccurate as our TBD tests, probably. What are the symptoms of the puppy besides not eating? Lyme in dogs can manifest with lameness, painful joints and swelling. If untreated, it can result in damage to the kidney and heart. Dogs respond very well to treatment. They are usually treated with doxycycline. Did the pup have any tick embedded at anytime of its life? There could be something else bothering him/her. When a dog stops eating it is because it is not feeling well or is in pain. What did the vet say? Why are you thinking lyme? It could be something else....
