The problem with forums is:
1) I only know that one line the person has posted and that's what I am replying to
2) My reply is easily misunderstood because it is again only one line and it is one dimensional
3) On many posts I do not reply because I am afraid of the above
4) I will try to not get myself in the midst of 1) and 2) again.
Thanks!
The problem with this specific thread is that the OP (Original Poster- for those that don't know) said they were Vegan by choice and that they were looking for another LLMD due to the last one saying that she would not treat the OP if they weren't going to eat meat. Members posted about
how eating animal products were necessary for healing - which is false. I mentioned that we needed to get back to the original questions - which had to do with detoxing. Things were fine as far as I knew, yet more posts showed up about
animal proteins being necessary even after I had asked that we not do that.
So I asked that those posts be removed since at that point it became flaming (rule #3) the OP. Had My first request been acknowledged and followed, I wouldn't have had to ask that posts be removed. I would rather the poster remove their own posts so that it's understood exactly what and why - which is why I'm responding now. If I just had removed the offending post, I could of been accused of things I'm not guilty of - even though I had already asked that diet not be a part of the conversation on this thread - unless it was in support of the OP's choices.
This does not mean that you cannot start another thread discussing diet choices. It only meant that it was not a topic of discussion on this thread.
And if there is to be any more discussion on this subject, I would rather it not be on this thread. I would prefer to deal with it in emails, but if we must discuss it on the forum, I'd like a different thread to be started -because once again, we are off topic of what the OP needed to know.
