I'm hoping to add JK and CC back into my daily regimen soon...just started adding the biaxin to my ammox today.

So, then my thought is to get some bartonella herbs - sida acuta and hout...(can't remember how to spell it).

Also, am thinking of buying a Buhner book. So I'm thinking the co-infection might be the better one - rather than the Lyme one.

what do you think?
Also the two herbal supplements I mentioned above - are they a good place to start for bart?
I think there's also something with green tea extract - is that as important?
I'm on a budget...and also taking a lot of stuff.

Get his latest book on Bart and Myco co-infections. It does include some info on Lyme. His Lyme book is pretty dated with better info on the web site. The Lyme book is do for a revision to be released in 2015. He has a Babs book also due out in 2015.

Thanks Tickbite - I have used the website for the lyme treatment already - prior to my abx. But, had to stop the herbs after a 12 day herx, so hoping to reintroduce the lyme JK and CC soon.

So, hopefully i will get to a point where I can add the bart herbs - and will buy the book.

What about bart herbs - to start is the sida acuta enough?

I think the reason Buhner hasn't published a new lyme book is that treatment for the coinfections should also treat lyme.

With the bart herbs we started Japanese knotweed and hawthorn while still on abx. When we weaned then we started sida (didn't have much of a problem with that), and then added houttuynia a couple months later. We had more difficulty finding a good dose of houttuynia because it caused significant herxing at low doses for us. We are now using 1/4 tsp infused herb 3x daily.
