Well, I was on a very extensive one, so we won't go there - here is one that I saw online:
"The Simple Elimination Diet That Could Change Your Life Forever" on "mindbodygreen.com"
goo.gl/RAcGLA You will have to start reading labels of
everything - including any frozen veggies, believe it or not! I've found soy in quite a few of the frozen veggies.
In this article they say 23 days off of all foods being tested - my doc had me go a full 30 days - the 23 days would have been a lot easier!
Once you have been off of these foods for that long, then you will want to reintroduce them - one by one- back into your diet. My doc had me eat the food in a sizable serving 3 times a day for 3 days - for milk, she had me use goat milk and drink a large glass 3 times a day. This puts a large amount of possible allergen into your body - you will know if you are allergic to it!
But once you have tested that food - it has to come back out of your diet until you are done with testing. That way you get a 'true' sense of what you can tolerate, what you can't tolerate and what you are truly allergic to.
Trying to figure out if you have an intolerance for the food without going through an elimination period won't give you a true picture. I didn't have too much trouble with soy until I was without it for a month, then I got a hold of a salad dressing that has some soy oil in it and boy oh boy!! Let me tell you, the bathroom was MINE!
LOL! I was totally miserable with muscle pain, joint pain, brain fog, and completely cleaned out my intestinal track for the next day.
