Tbrown... They have a really good blend at Woodlandessence. I haven't tried it myself but it is CSA- Cryptolepsis, Sida Acuta, and Alchornea all in one tincture. That one would probably be really good for you! Even Dr. H uses Cryptolepsis in his patients!

And I don't know for sure if you can combine the medications and herbs... We are all pretty much performing chemistry experiments on ourselves when we are treating. He says in his book that yes abx can be taken with his herbs. I think he mentions a few interactions though. Clarithromycin can sometimes not be the best antibiotic to mix, as Dr. H says it has more drug interactions than others. Also I am not sure about the mepron being added. I guess I can say most likely it would be okay to combine the treatments, but I don't know for sure.

Hmm maybe il try it and see what happens or make another thread that says Biaxin, mepron, csa interactions.
I was also wondering if I could do the Bart herbs and the Biaxin mepron and Csa all at the same time or is that I'll adviced

Traveller- kudzu is also for brain protection it says. They both also protect the mitochondria. Kudzu also increases blood circulation, relieves tension in the face and neck, is somewhat antiviral, lowers blood pressure, and is anti-inflammatory. It also reduces damage done by cytokines in the central nervous system. It also stimulates peripheral nerve regeneration. Anyways another brain protection herb.

Thank you Lyme Pickle!! I greatly appreciate your sharing of that information!! As I said, kudzu grows everywhere here, I may have to tincture some!!

And I will think about getting back on the Motherwort. My current doc wanted me to come off of it as she believes that it can interfere with the thyroid, or did she say thyroid meds??

At any rate, she believes that my adrenals and thyroid, although still low, are now stable (whew!) and should be okay as I finish treating my Lyme again, but I don't know if I want to take chances with the motherwort. Ugh - decisions, decisions, decisions!!!

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better!! Congrats!! :-)

LOL! I just need to break down and actually order it! I've wanted so many different books over the years of dealing with this, but I always hesitate because my treatments never seem to follow anyone else's - but it looks like I may need to have a really good herbal book for Lyme now......eyes I'm sure I'm not done with tick, and I hope to be able to be more aware of my symptoms from here on out so that I can catch it sooner.

Although I am taking Astragalus as per Buher's suggestions for early Lyme and will stay on it for preventing another Lyme infection - boy, I hope it works!!!

This is off topic - but what happyjo said about sleep and immune system. When my symptoms appeared...not only was I stressed out from things in my life at the time, but I was also burning the candle at both ends.
My body is used to lots of sleep...always been a good sleeper...and enjoyed it. But, I was only getting 4-5 hours of sleep during the week and catching up on the week-ends...when I was hit hard with lyme.

And, then one of my worse symptoms of lyme was not being able to sleep...aggh it was horrible...and added more stress...and the vicious cycle began.

I am sleeping quite well now...so hoping that it will help me heal.

Do be careful with mixing too many herbs together - some should not be taken together. Do you have an experienced herbalist that you can consult from time to time to make sure you aren't taking things that shouldn't be taken together?
