Eye problems!! Did anybody have problems like this??

I sure do! I can't focus and everything is fuzzy. My right pupil is bigger than the other one since last year. No idea why. I see flashes sometimes. My eyes hurt when I move them when I have a headache. Not sure why but I hope with treatment it gets better so I can drive again!

If you are having eye pain, be sure to get your eyes checked out. Lyme can make any of the nerves in your body - including the eyes- be inflamed and can cause pain - but there are other issues too that should be checked on when you have pain in your eyes.

Some find that they have added eye pressure,or sometimes pressure behind the eyes, but this is not pain, just pressure.

The floaters that you are seeing are quite normal - for Lyme patients anyway! There is some disagreement as to what it is exactly that we are seeing, but there's no doubt that it's due to the Lyme.

As for the fuzzy vision, the same thing applies. Remember the nerves in your body are inflamed and are under attack by the bacteria. Even the different pupil size has been seen in Lyme patients, but I'm unsure of what causes that or if any treatments are needed (other than Lyme treatment).

Please detox, as it will help ease your symptoms. Remember that we have some really good and effective detoxing suggestions in the "New to Lyme?" thread. If you have started using them already, and are still having these issues, and they have been checked out already - then it may take a bit of time before you can get the toxin load & the pathogen load down far enough before you begin to feel a real difference. Most people though just realize one day that they are no longer dealing with that symptom or realize that it's almost gone as the improvements can be so gradual.
