So my job offers a health service called Grand Rounds. The idea is that you submit your medical records and history to them. They then get a team of "experts" to give you a second opinion for free. Ok.. great.. So the first doc they send it to has no idea. No surprised. the neuro hasn't gotten back to me. Fine. No problem. I'm used to that by now.
At my request they sent my info to their "Lyme expert" for review. You want to guess who it was? I'll just say this.. Yale.. IDSA.. Under Our Skin.. that guy. Yeah... Literally the last person on the planet I'd want to talk to about
Lyme. The guy who literally wrote the erroneous book on Lyme. Just my luck.
He gave me 6 paragraphs on why it's not Lyme, 1 sentence saying some symptoms might be anxiety and zero alternative explanations for all my other symptoms.
