One more numb limb question?

Since this neuro thing began with me I am unable to sleep on my side (along w/ a few other horrid neuro things).

But just curious if anyone else has the nightmare lying down problem like mine--not being able to sleep on side due horrid numbness??

I don't have numbness, but I have a lot of pain on my left side - burning pain - shoulder blade, down left arm and into the hand...for over a year now...and muscle atrophy..
So, I have been sleeping on my back, and also on my right side...but a month ago I developed bad shoulder pain in both shoulders, so now it hurts to lay on my right side, too.

So, I maybe get a couple hours on my right side, and the rest on my back...I miss the days when I slept comfortably and looked forward to the sleep. It's somewhat stressful going to bed with these pains, not as restful as it used to be.

where is the numbness - on your entire side? when I was at my worst, I was waking up every two hrs because my arm and hand would get completely numb. hated it. I like to sleep with my arm under my pillow, and that was happening for weeks. it subsided as treatment continued.

I have seen a few of your posts, but I am not familiar with what you are doing for treatment - are you on abx or an herbal protocol, and how long have you been treating? this does go away in time, just try to remember that!!

In the early morning my hand will start to fall asleep, and then I have to shake it for awhile and it really hurts when the feeling comes back. Then if I lay on my side it starts again.

Even after I get up, sitting in my chair my hands and arms sometimes will get numb.

Yes, you definitely need to see an LLMD, the 200 mg of doxy is not a high enough dose to kill the bacteria. Convince the PCP to give you enough till your other appt.
