Hi everyone not having a good day so i go to a differentd dr to get a second oponion ecause i felt like the first place was just taking my money he said igenix is not very reliable they say everyone is positive for lyme and that valtrex is not what i should be on for lyme if it is lyme still no positive western blot he did take blood and is checking to see if the bacteria is in my system god it is hard to not trust doctors who do u believe really cares or has ur best intetest at heart thanks jennifer

That is sooo not true that everyone is positive with the Igenex test. There are many members on this forum who weren't positive, but they were still diagnosed with lyme disease.

Don't put too much stock in the positive test. A good LLMD will diagnose you based on your history, along with your symptoms...the test is just a confirmation when it tests positive.

Do you have a LLMD? If not, please look for one - you need someone who will listen to you and not doubt your symptoms.

Do you need help finding a LLMD?

Thank u girlie yes i need a good dr in my area i am not having any luck the one place recommended by a different lyme website they were not very good feeling helpless and crazy jennifer

So, start a new thread and in the subject put: Looking for LLMD in ____ and put your state.

I don't know about the other forum..but I do know about this one - you will get the help you need.
