Hi everyone in desperate need for help for myself an my baby. I had a c section 3/13/2013 became very very ill 3 weeks later started with a flu then lifted my head hole room spinning (vertigo) that's lasted months accompanied by blurred vision double vision lightheaded dizzy pressure in the back of my head severe leg pain 105 fever vomiting now 1 1/2 later I find I had lymes and EPV dormant in my body before I was pregnant so now baby an I are very sick,( please if anyone can open there heart to me an lead me to a fantastic lymes doctor on Orange County I am wiling to drive but hard with all my brain fog an confusion I have lost my balance an the father left the baby an I because I became ill;( I live in Costa Mesa thank you any advice an to know there is a light at the end if this awful tunnel I have lost hope

Wow, that's a lot for you to go through. I'm so sorry your husband left when you need him the most.

If you'll start a new thread with the subject being some like "Looking for LLMD in Orange County" , then more people will see it and hopefully send you some names. You will need to enable your email in your profile, then you'll get suggestions by email since we can't put their names on the forum. Again, I'm so very sorry for what you're going through and I hope you will find a good doctor soon. Do you have family around that would help you? I wish you the very best!!

Oh no,

I'm so so sorry! I don't know the folks in CA very well. All I know is there is an LLND in San Diego. You need an LLMD though, and you need someone very soon.

I will try to launch a separate post for you.

Is there anyone nearby who can help you, or can you hire someone for now? If your fever is 105, you need to be in the ER.

You may need to talk to a hospital social worker to get care for your baby.

I'm in the OC too. There are only a few in the area... best is Dr. J. N. in San Diego.

I'm so sorry to hear of all you're going through. I can't help in a practical way, with advice on docs etc, as I am in the UK, but I'm sure others on here will be able to help you and steer you in the right direction. I can see that you're new to the forum like me, but you can get so much help & advice & support here, which really will make you feel more positive & less alone. First step tho is to find an LLMD and get some treatment as soon as poss. Don't lose hope - things can and WILL get better xx

Sickmommy, please email me by clicking on my screen name or the blue envelop under my name. Can you get to Santa Ana on your own? I have a referral I can share with you that is in Santa Ana that has had ILADS training (best to have a doc that has gone through this).

Hang in there, and don't loose hope!! We are here to help as much as we can.

Aaronb, we don't allow members to post doctors names because there are people out there that are persecuting our doctors. We have had many LLMD's loose their licenses and need all that we can keep! This is an open forum, meaning anyone with computer access can read these forums.

Hi traveler bless your heart yes I am right down the street from Santa Ana 10 min at most ;))) oh my gosh I can't tell you how much this means to me that you are opening your heart to me! New to this not sure when you say click on envelope ? Am u allowed to give you my phone number on here or email so we can talk? I am very scared an I have been sick since before may if 2012;( god this swaying is constant an day every day an severe neck pain an my poor precious baby is sick as well;) you gave me hope I wan not sure someone would reach our to me.
