Every year when we turn back the clocks I have a hard time adjusting... Maybe it's psychological with me, I don't know.. I wish they would just leave the time as it was.. It's one of my pet peeves...

Does anyone else have a difficult time adjusting?

I am right there with you!

EVERY/ANY changes for me is tough, especially weather changes.

I felt better this summer (only one month) than I had in years, and I'm wondering if one thing was my sitting in the morning sun for 15 - 30 minutes most mornings. I hadn't been in the sun for years....but I felt great during that time. So many factors as to why, but I know that Vit D is so needed for us.

Now, I'm considering looking into one of those lights for seasonal light issues. I wonder if that would help.

Oh, and my dog has a tough time with this time change, too. :( Food time is food time...poor thing.

Hi Breaking Free,

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. Since you mentioned your dog, I have 2 cats and they are on controlled feeding (because they love to eat too much and are overweight). They both stare me down when it's time for them to eat. Last night they started staring me down 1 hour before so their biological clock must be the same as mine, hey, what do cats know about turning the clock back? Duh!!

I don't have a problem with weather, I actually like the cold and snow! I am one who could never live in Florida because I dislike the heat. But you are right, we do need our Vit. D for sure!!

I'm sooo tired of changing times!! I wish the rest of the country would follow Arizona and Hawaii and just stop this!!! ACK!

I still wake up at the same time, no matter what time I go to bed - only it's now an hour earlier!!!

My poor dogs are suffering too!! I now get to hear an hour & 1/2 of huffs and stomping around from them as they wait for me to feed! My dogs are real characters - all but one is a rescue! And my cat sits on my computer table staring me down now!! LOL! I keep getting the giggles as this normally very goofy cat suddenly gets all serious and starts staring at me!!

That's funny Trav! Animals are good for a laugh. I miss our goofy dog, but I just got on a puppy list, so maybe we'll have one again in 2015. We just lost a cat, so I need to fill the void.

The change helped me get on a better sleep schedule. It's the spring change that takes me a while to adjust to.

No matter what time I go to bed, I wake up at what used to be 7 am automatically ever since I got reinfected - so now it's only 6 am!!! shakehead Unless of course, I just have a bad night, which still happens occasionally - especially when I really screw up and forget to take my afternoon doses of adrenal and thyroid meds!! smhair That's what happened to me night before last & I got a whole 4 hours of sleep!! Ugh!

Yep! Love my critters!! They give me the giggles a lot! And a cat that is normally goofy trying so hard to be super serious is really quite funny!

I hope that you get the puppy you desire/need!! I now only get rescue dogs - they are really wonderful pets, so it's not likely I'll have a puppy again - but who knows?

I don't like winter time either... takes weeks to get adjusted. We changed times a week before you. Animals suffer from it too: they want their food, cows/goats want to get milked...
