Thinking of flu shot? Might want to think again.

So, I have never had a flu shot...I don't trust pharmaceutical companies (as she gulps down a handful of antibiotics!!!).

I fought the pressure when my son was in elementary school...often having him stay home the day that they were vaccinating. He did get some...but we went to the public health unit and chose the ones that I felt (after research) the risks of serious side effects of the disease outweighed the risks of the vaccines.

Now, my husband and I work for the provincial health authority...and the pressure is on us to get the annual flu shot. (No pressure this year for me, though, not working)
If my husband doesn't get the shot, he has to wear a face mask all day...and he is out in public with his job. So, not really an option.
I'm thinking, if the patients are all getting it, then why do the workers need it?

I had my flu shot like 4 years in a row and I didn't catch the flu once. The same year I got my last flu shot which was last year was also the year I ended up getting the lyme.

It is recommended not to get the flu shot when you have lyme, as the immune system has a difficult time with lyme alone. Adding a flu shot could overwhelm the immune system or divert it's attention towards the flu shot rather than keeping tabs with what the lyme is doing.

My LLMD said flu shots were a really bad idea.

First, they're full of mercury.

Secondly, they can make you really ill, because a vaccine is a small part of the illness itself, and can trigger a cascade of bad effects in your body.

I used to get the flu shot every year, and I noticed that each year I got it, I would get a little sicker and a little sicker, until finally, whenever I would get the shot, I would be bed-ridden for 2 or 3 days thereafter.

I just didn't want to deal with that.

To illustrate, I ate some extremely hot hot sauce the other day. First, I thought that my body was just reacting because the hot sauce was, well, so hot. But when I came home, my whole body was covered with a rash, and I swear I could feel the stuff creeping up my neck as it followed the arteries' paths. I took some Benadryl (quite a bit, ha ha) and was fine.

But here's the point I'm trying to make. The next day, I had an allergic reaction to peanut butter. Not anaphylaxis, but allergic nonetheless. My throat was tickling, my nose was runny, etc. etc. Then, I put some orange peels in the bath (have done that before), and my whole body burned all over. I had to scrub and scrub and then rinse myself.

I'm fine now, and can eat peanut butter and oranges again, but I'm just saying, if you put a toxic substance in your body, it can trigger a cascade of reactions to other things.

Buhner has a protocol for the flu. It might be better to get the herbs and have them in your cabinet!

Please everybody, be careful. The flu is bad, bad news, but the shot could be really bad too.
