IHL—
The face, teeth, gums, jaw, cheek, eye pain, constant headaches, post nasal drip—these are classic sinus infection symptoms.
Put together with ear aches, fluid, crackling, hearing loss, sore throat —all symptoms that I also had, I am certain you have a fungal infection of the sinus.
If you can, I would go to a compounding pharmacist and ask for a two-week Rx of Nystatin powder form (should cost under $20). According to the dosage (usually about 1/16 t) you can put one dose in a small glass of water, dissolve it and drink it. You should experience relief in a matter of a couple days if not sooner. If you do get relief, double the dose and go back for more.
for 13 months over 2013 and into 2014, I battled chronic sinusitis and bronchitis and bounced from Urgent Care to ER and was given various rounds of abx and steroids and kept getting sicker. I later determined it was caused by a fungal infection, exacerbated by the abx and steroids.
Once I started taking antifungals, the sx immediately improved. I had to cycle through a couple different antifungals but I haven't had a sinus infection in over a yr. I am so sorry you are experiencing this—it's horribly painful. Please post your progress.
