I don't mind...if there's any brain to pick! Some days I wonder.
I honestly don't know how long I've been sick. I'm not doing really bad. For example, I was just out in the sleet and snow raking a bunch of leaves from the big leaf maples and I feel better from doing it.
I was very ill in my late 20s, early 30s and was treated with classical homeopathy and was feeling better than ever after about 6 months. I had been to medical doctors, but the just said I was depressed, so since I felt I had no other options, I took a class on homeopathy to learn about it and shortly after starting that, I started working with a homeopath. Knowing what I do about Lyme now, I think that's what I had back then.
My daughter has been sick for a long time and it was after she was diagnosed that I got tested and was surprised I had it. I held off doing any aggressive treatments since my mom was in a care home and I had to be able to go spend time with her and be in charge of her health care. I was also helping my daughter a lot and had to be alert for that and I'm still doing that with her. My mom has since passed away.
My adrenals and thyroid are off now, causing my head symptoms and tiredness. I don't take abx. Homeopathy treatments helped keep me going and still is, but I need to see if I can work with my first one again or find one as good as him. Having a decent diet most of my adulthood has helped, especially when I started using some of the Weston Price methods. I take various supplements. I use a Biomat too, so that helps kill of some of the herd.
My focus is on my daughter so much that I don't think of myself as often. I just want to see her get better and get on with her life.
I don't think I was tested for co-infections, but I'll have to ask next time. If I do, they're low key. If I did have Lyme when I was young, I'm sure I had some then. My original homeopathic treatments and the "tuneups" I've had since then seems to have kept things in check. That's about it.
I'm curious as to what made you want to know about me.
