new source for tinctures?

I've run into a problem with the cat's claw tincture I was getting from HerbPharm. The first bottle was great, but the next two bottles have a strange moldy taste to them. And I react to them just like I do to being in a moldy room....I'm quite allergic to mold. I'm really, really, really upset about this.

I need a new source for cat's claw tincture. Is there anywhere that actually guarantees purity and doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Samento is just way too pricey since I'm on ~30 drops 3x a day now.

I'm also thinking about switching all my tinctures to another brand, or even making my own. How hard is it to learn to make tinctures?

And of course being off the cat's claw has its own fun to go along with it. Extreme rage, self hatred and my bloody eye twitch is back.

Just got out of a detox bath, too.
