herbalist in NYC

I have been down that road. I find that the LLMD's that use herbs don't really know that much about the herbs they are prescribing (suggesting). And...I'm pretty sure I know all of them (MD's) at this point....pls tell me who you use anyway in the event it's someone I don't know!

If you were using Zhang, his clinic is actually in NYC. I don't actually 'know' if he does do appointments but the clinic may be able to guide you to another local herbalist that will work with you one on one. I am sure there are some fantastic TCM practioners in Chinatown but I've met a few folks there who definitely do not speak English. I'm only posting this guys info because he treats as an herbalist and does not take insurance. ie cannot be used or harassed by medical institutions.

Boo, well that is good to know for future reference. I'll see what else I can dig up.

They are not in NYC. I am from Delaware. The herbalist is in MD near Baltimore - however she is LL and will do skype consultations. The ND is not LL but really good and she is in Pittsburgh, PA but pretty pricey. I still go to both though only twice a year and more for just check ups and some ideas on how to keep my health up.
