Quit antibiotics and started Dr. Jernigan's full lyme protocol

So after a year of trial and error antibiotics I'm going to take a shot in the dark and go in a different direction. I just started dr Jernigans full lyme protocol which consist of lymeogen, borrelogen, microbojen, neuro antitox II, yeast ease plus, pomifitrin, and molybdenum. All of this cost about $260 for a months supply which I was spending on suppliments anyways. I downloaded the ebook by dr Sarah which is free and it gives multiple protocols that might fit ones lifestyle.

Il track my progress using this thread and anyone else who is doing any of the products feel free to comment on here about your progress as well.

I know I'm taking a big risk here since i have made progress with mepron Biaxin and tindamax but I feel like the abx are slowly destroying me but if need be il go back to them. Going to give this a shot for a few months and see what happens.

Update. Very interesting feelings. First I felt better then worse then better then awful then better lol I'm also getting symptoms I haven't had since day 1 a year ago. Wonder if that's good or bad

Good for you! Just a note that Dr. David Jernigan does not approve of Dr. Sara's protocol (the one with switching around the botanicals constantly). For those that are new here, Dr. Sara is Dr. David's first wife and they divorced.

Also, you need to give your body time to release the remnants of the chemical abx because they are still in your body and you won't feel the "full effects" of the Jernigan protocol until those abx are out of your system.... patience, patience...

I wouldn't add anything else. When I did Jernigan's protocol I took 1 product at a time just to see what I was feeling. I didn't want to guess "oh, maybe it's the borrelogen, no, maybe it's the neuro-antitox, no, maybe it's this or that..." So I kept it simple. Our bodies are smart and tell us what is going on..

Once again, I don't think you will be able to tell much until you detox the abx out of your body.. I have no idea how long that takes, wish I did.

Don't worry about it, everything you are doing is pretty much the same as what I did except for a few exceptions. Dr. David did not want Microbojen to be taken until 2 months after taking the Borrelogen (or Lymogen which was not invented when I followed his protocol).

Below is the protocol I followed:

2 months of Borrelogen (I ended up taking Borrelogen for 3 months) along with the CNS/PNS Neuro-Antitox Formula

Stopped the Borrelogen and started with Microbojen (still taking the Neuro-Antitox): protocol states to do this for 2 months (I did 3 months)

Take Borrelogen and Microbojen together for 2 months (I did 3 months again, still taking the Neuro-Antitox because of my fear of the toxin ammonia)...

Continue taking the Borrelogen and Microbojen together for another 2 months even if you feel healed.

I didn't take the yeast ease or other botanicals as I was on a budget and couldn't afford them.

Tbrown, did you buy Dr. Jernigan's book (the real book, not a download) as there is so much great information in that book. I still go back to that book to read certain chapters.

Very interesting. So far, I've heard mostly good things about Dr. Jernigan. But I'm going to go with my LLMDs suggestions. If I get desperate (which has happened many times, ha ha), then maybe.
