Buhner says that there will be people that require continuous low doses of antimicrobial herbs to remain well, but my feeling is that those are the ones who's immune system's are not capable of keeping the infections properly under control, or who's detox pathways are not functioning properly for whatever reason.
I have no idea whether or not we will be able to wean from our herbal protocols, but once you get into it, making teas is not that hard.
I would willingly stay on these herbs indefinitely to keep feeling as well as I do now. That goes for our daughter as well - still 99%!
Our environment (metals, pesticides), food (antibiotics, pesticides, GMO's), medical interventions (required vaccine metal preservatives and adjuvants) are all reeking havoc on our bodies and immune systems. It's little wonder many are succumbing to chronic infection and autoimmune disease.
I feel using herbs, detoxing and living as cleanly as possible (mostly organic food, vaccine exemptions etc.) is a small price to pay for our health. The alternative is not good.
