Traveller-- so 13 grams of the herbs mixed with 4 cups of water- so how many herbs are in it? I am a little unsure of how to accurately mix the tea- so it says the proportions on the misty meadows site, I think I saw that- so do you then consider one part to be one gram? And you have to get a gram scale to measure it?
I would think misty meadows would make a pre mixed tea of this since they make teas for other things, but it didn't look like it. I am sure once I get into the swing of it I can make the right tea but at the moment it seems overwhelming, but do- able. I do think after considering it that the dried herbs in a tea would be more effective than the tincture or syrup.
I really want to do this!!!
I am not sure if I should just go ahead and order the herbs and get started or if I should wait till after my next llmd appointment and check with my llmd first.
Like I said, I ordered the syrup after you told me about
it tonight! But perhps the tea is better
Edited to add- okay so I found this recipe http://www.mistymeadows.org/wendy.htm
on the lyme pdf page 77 okay so it says one part equals 1/4 cup- so is that accurate enough to measure it that way? and not use the gram scale?
I am gonna do this!
argh- confusing myself here!! Now I read it again and the recipe I saw says to add the brandy and honey so this is for the syrup? I know you wrote it somewhere else but could you once again ( sorry!!) share te proportions of thetea? I should dig it u on the other thread where yoy wrote it but can't remember which one it was. Did you base it on this recipe in terms of parts? please clarify once more even though you have already thank you
