For those of you with Bartonella, what meds have helped you the most and gotten rid of the most symptoms?
Just looking for personal experiences!

Rifampin did amazing things for me and brought my health back to 80+% ....until it slowly stopped working for me. For the last few months my bartonella symptoms are beginning to come back slowly.

Low, 1/4 recommended dosages of Buhner's COMPLETE bartonella protocol (minus l-arginine).

I added in Houttuynia 3 months after I started the Chronic Tonic for Lyme. I stayed on Chronic Tonic for 12 months and the Houttuynia for 9 months as was healed.

Rifampin, Plaquenil, and Mino combo realy hit Bart hard and had the most neuro imrovements. Currently on Levaquin for 30 days to hopefully knock it out.

Hi Healing98,
I was on Rifampin and Amox for about
two months. I recently read that Rifampin should be used with a micro or tetra bec. It can cause resistance. I i was confused as to why my LLMD used these two meds together. Is it ok to use with Amox?
