My brief story- as per request

June 2013 active acute lyme infection. CDC +.
Very severe acute infection
-also had undx West Nile Virus or Powassan Encephalitis virus at same time - organs failing, blood clot, meningo-encephalitis, anorexia, couldn't use my legs, confusion, failing vision, speaking without making any sense; undiagnosed for 2 months.
Wheelchair & bed bound.
Almost died.
Doxy for 3 weeks. Still in wheelchair.
Doxy until October 2013. Slight improvement by September, then by the end of the month, went downhill & became severely anemic, trouble breathing.
November- qualified LLMD now in the picture: added Coartem & Tindamax for lyme (still on doxy).Major Tindamax herxing- killed my head.
Dec 2013- added Rifampin and began Buhner protocol. LLMD did not do herbals, so I started them all myself. In March 2014, I got an herbalist.
Basically, multiple abx, antiparasitics & herbal tinctures until 2 months ago (about 1 1/2 years on orals)

Oct2014- IV Rocephin (ceftriaxone) & still on herbals: hallelujah! Best healing yet!

This is not absolutely every rx have been on or every sx, but a general overall tx picture.

I may or may not have had lyme for many years prior to June 2013;
I will never know for sure, but it is certainly suspect.
I have an LLMD & an herbalist- Buhner's cohort.

Read Buhner's books (4 in total), Dr Horowitz's book, Merck Manual,
multiple books on essential oils, natural health, etc.
Continue research about Lyme, co-infectious, infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, and rx & natural medications to treat.
I am always trying to learn everything I am able to as best as I can.

No more wheelchair bound, but still have balance & visual issues.
I was very nervous about a picc line, like many are, but it was the BEST DECISION ever made in my healing. Yes, I wish it would have happened sooner, but that's a whole 'nother long story. There were many attempts in that direction & stalls along the way. Will spare you the details.

Long story deleted, long and arduous....

Jump to October 2014 & the picc finally went in. I began feeling better immediately, from Day 1.

Vision- my eyes get tired and sore- for instance, if I am in a store, it hurts my eyes to look at all of the boxes & items on the shelf. This makes me dizzy, tired and I lose my balance. There is too much stimuli and the store now feels too big, & I don't even know if I am going to make it back to the car without falling over. This is one example of my continued neuro issues.

Did I have other diagnoses before the lyme? Yes, many.
For example, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, insomnia, etc.....
